Like any discipline of sport, horseback riding also demands special apparel. It doesn't mean that without the right outfits of the rider, the horse is not going to canter, however the tradition, comfort, aesthetics play a critical role in all disciplines. Especially horse riding, namely a discipline from distant past, has established particular qualities over time. Breeches are certainly among them.

Equestrian breeches, coziness, and tradition
Equestrian breeches are extraordinary horseback riding pants.
